In his first public appearance in several years, the 81-year-old nationally-renowned icon, who was dubbed “TV’s Civil Rights Crusader” by Black Enterprise magazine in 1979, and host and producer of the longest-running and only Black-affairs TV series on PBS for 40 years, was also the coordinator of the largest civil rights march in U. S. history and a best-selling author of three books, returns with a renewed self-help call for the African-American community and global friends.
In conjunction with the last day of Black History Month, 2015, the Black Business Network/TAG TEAM Marketing event, called “The Return of Tony Brown,” will host this much-anticipated historic meeting on self-reliance and personal and community empowerment on February 28, 2015 at 7PM.
