As of now, the political stage is set for a repeat victory for a divided nation and an economic system that prevents the rise of Black people out of educated ignorance and an economic dependence on the White population.
At a time when 95% of Blacks told opinion polls that they plan to vote for a tarnished Hillary Clinton, a long-standing grifter, she is losing. “If 70 percent of African Americans don’t like Donald Trump, that means that 30% are still open to Trump’s argument, and if he gets half of those he’s president,” a former Black White House Obama czar opined.
For those who believe in divine justice and wonder why millions and millions of Blacks were brought to the United States as slaves, beginning in 1619, we might finally get relief on November 8, 2016 after the smoke clears from the political election carnage of the presidential election.
“Everything was looking up for Hillary Clinton. She was riding high in the polls. She was sitting on $153 million in cash,” The New York Times reported. “Just as Hillary Clinton appeared to be cruising to Election Day with the wind at her back, the FBI rattled the presidential race Friday by announcing it is again making inquiries about emails that might be related to her private server, rekindling a politically damaging controversy for Clinton and reinvigorating Republicans scrambling to hold on to congressional seats.
“The surprise word from FBI Director James Comey came after his agency discovered new communications on a computer jointly used by close Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, a former New York congressman, according to U.S. law enforcement officials, as reported by the Washington Bureau of the Daily Press.
That – plus the fact that Trump has closed the gap to just two points for Trump in just 10 days – raises the spectrum of a Trump victory for the first time.
During my lifetime, I had never seen a serious politician, Black or White, Democrat or Republican, offer such a comprehensive plan as Donald Trump did a couple of days ago.
In a speech in North Carolina on Wednesday that has earned praise for its rhetorical strength, Donald Trump reached out to African-American voters, promising to be an agent of change in Washington who would work on their behalf to forge a "new deal for Black America." In doing so, Trump demonstrated that America’s future belongs to the planners and builders, not the cynics and not the critics.
Trump explained, “I want to discuss an issue that means so much to me. That is the issue of urban renewal, and the rebuilding of our inner cities. Today I want to talk about how to grow the African-American middle class, and to provide a new deal for Black America. That deal is grounded in three promises: safe communities, great education, and high-paying jobs.
“My vision rests on a principle that has defined this campaign: America First. Every African-American citizen in this country is entitled to a government that puts their jobs, wages and security first. Too many African-Americans have been left behind. 45% of African-American children under the age of 6 live in poverty. 58% of African-American youth are not currently employed.
“One of the greatest betrayals has been the issue of immigration. Illegal immigration violates the civil rights of African-Americans. No group has been more economically-harmed by decades of illegal immigration than low-income African-American workers. Hillary’s pledge to enact ‘open borders,’ – made in secret to a foreign bank – would destroy the African-American middle class.
“School choice is at the center of my plan. My proposal redirects education spending to allow every disadvantaged child in America to attend the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. School choice is the great civil rights issue of our time, and I will be the nation’s biggest cheerleader for school choice in all 50 states. I will also appoint a commission to investigate the school to prison pipeline and to shut it down and create a new pathway that leads from a great education to a great job. No historical period could be any more prepared for major change and a crumbling of this racist political system than the 2016 election -- if Blacks would just be guided by logic rather than an emotional attachment to crooked, lying politicians in both political parties.
